This review addresses:
- specific interactions between some pre-existing respiratory diseases (asthma, bronchiectasis, infiltrative lung disease, repeated pneumonia, etc) and immunosuppressants;
- some particular issues in the care of respiratory complications (infections, thoracic surgery, neoplasia, thromboembolism, etc) in patients undergoing immunosuppressive treatment.
