Epidemiology of pneumothorax - finally something solid out of thin air

Pneumothorax is a common pathology. Primary spontaneous pneumothorax (PSP) conventionally refers to patients with no underlying lung disease, while those with established lung pathology are classified as secondary spontaneous pneumothorax (SSP).
